A supportive community centred on worship, study, and service.
Orientation is a program of activities that introduces you to your place of study and the services available to help you find your way around and pursue your studies, knowing that you will be supported in your learning and other needs as they may arise.
The Orientation program is one of these services.
A directory of the student services can be found under our Student Services tab.
These services are available for all students enrolled at Nisibis Assyrian Theological College in awards of the Australian University College of Divinity (AUCD), to support you to reach your academic goals and keep you safe and well along the way.
All students commencing their studies at Nisibis are expected to participate in the Orientation Program arranged for their benefit.
Through it you will be offered useful information about academic matters, about how we will support your studies, and how we will strive to make your overall experience while you are with us safe and enjoyable.
There will also be an opportunity to ask questions.
Our Orientation Program will be delivered online, as scheduled and announced by the Registry office.

If you believe that there is a suitable reason to contest a mark, you can apply for the review of that mark.
You should address the matter with your marker/course unit coordinator, asking to have your assignment reviewed.
You could be required to resubmit the revised assignment, to be marked again.
If you are not happy with the outcome of the review, and you believe that the review decision was procedurally unfair, you can lodge an academic appeal.
First, you lodge an appeal with the Registry Office, the officers of which will confer with the Academic Dean.
The latter might ask a third party to read an anonymised draft of the assignment and mark it again.
If the outcome of this review is not satisfactory, ask the Academic Dean to forward your query to the Academic Committee of Nisibis Assyrian Theological College.
As the last form of appeal, in case the internal processes of Nisibis seemed to you unfair, you can lodge an appeal with AUCD.
Our Student Support Officers can be reached (including for matters of sexual misconduct) on the following: admin@nisibis.edu.au (ask for Mrs Geneva Kadon, Registry Assistant).
For pastoral and spiritual matters, please ask to be put in touch with Father Ramen Youkhanis, College Chaplain, at admin@nisibis.edu.au.
For any critical incidents or emergency please contact emergency services on 000.
